- samplera new lead voice that plays your own sound. capture up to eight seconds from the mic, or drop an audio file anywhere on the page, and the take lands on that finger: sliced onto the lanes so height picks the chop, or pitched so every lane replays the whole take at that lane’s note. each finger keeps its own material, and a guitar note ships loaded so the default sampler pinch is never a silent key.
- harmonizerthe chord hand can now sing with you: a fourth chord voice pitch-shifts your live voice onto every held chord tone at once, quantized to the chord, so cutoff and sculpt shape your voice exactly as they shape the pad. two new synth banks arrive alongside it, keys (an FM tine) and hollow (a pulse reed), picked from the rail or the sound tab. wear headphones.
- songssave the whole musical state under a name: key, tempo, chords, melody voices and ranges, sound, both spice matrices. a song deck in the frame’s top left loads any of them mid-performance, and camera, mic and recording never move when a song does. the settings room splits along the same line, song tabs that save and setup tabs that stay put, each with its own reset.
- melody rangeseach melody pinch now owns its own stretch of the ladder: lowest note, highest note, its own lane count. a pinky can whistle two easy notes at the top of the band while the index runs three octaves under it, and the plate marks whose ladder is drawn.
- mic tabthe microphone gets a room of its own: pick the input device, choose channel 1, 2 or both for interfaces that arrive hard-left, hear yourself in the headphones at exactly the level the take gets, and a space slider that puts room on the recorded voice without ever touching the speakers.
- camera watchdoga frozen feed, an unplugged camera or a tracking crash now says so in the middle of the frame and offers one button that restarts tracking in place: audio, settings and a rolling take all survive, and held notes release instead of hanging.

- sculpta fifth mode on the right arc, and the only one that plays the chord hand’s instrument: arp rate, envelope stretch and glide, beat-synced tremolo, grit, and a spread that opens the voicing across the register, with space on reach and colour on the open wrist. every aspect latches, so a sound survives a trip to the drums and back.
- drumsthe beat is no longer five switches. one pinch finger per family of the kit (kick, snare, hats, toms, which are new) and the wrist says how present that family is, climbing from silence through ghosts to fills that answer across a four-bar phrase. the grid on the plate is the same generator the scheduler plays, so what you see is what will sound.
- bassfour performed aspects instead of presets: density, chord tones, octave jumps and feel, one per pinch finger. feel reaches past the grid to tresillo and gallop, the top of the tones ladder walks the beats themselves, height is the filter’s resonance and reach is how hard the kick ducks the line.
- vertical takesrecord a 720x1280 sheet for a phone, the wide one, or both at once. the tall plate is a re-composition rather than a crop: full-width camera, its own mode panels, and a trail of the last few seconds of the lead. a phone held upright now performs on it.
- layoutone setting replaces the clean-feed and light-plate switches: plate, light plate, or open. open is the new default, with no bands at all and each mode panel drawn only while the hand it belongs to is working.

- settings menuevery deep control now lives in one panel with tabs for chords, melody, sound, camera and recording. the rail keeps the live essentials, and each of its cells explains itself on hover.
- chord matrixpick the exact chord for every cell of the spice grid: any quality from the full library, plus a pinned bass note per cell. the flipped hand gets its own matrix, and any cell resets to auto.
- theremina new free-glide lead voice. no grid, fractional pitch all the way, and exactly in tune at the lane-centre ticks.
- pinch voiceseach of the four melody pinches is its own instrument: saw, square, flute, theremin, acid, pulse, glass or brass, with grid snap on or off per finger.
- chord snapchords can land on the next 8th so the grid absorbs camera latency, or sound the instant you pinch. your call, in settings.
- light platethe camera now fills the whole frame by default: the dark bands drop to a scrim and every line of type stays. the full-ink plate is one switch away.
- roll readoutsboth wrists’ roll values stay printed on the plate, so a parameter survives its hand leaving the frame.
- camera recoverya blocked camera now says how to unblock it, and in-app browsers (instagram, tiktok and friends) are told to open a real browser instead of failing silently.
